Help takes on many forms.
There are a number of ways to become involved in our organization. A Lewis County GAL volunteer is a trained community volunteer who is appointed by a juvenile court judge to speak for an abused or neglected child’s best interests. Volunteers are required to complete 30 hours of pre-service training, submit to screening and background checks and they must be 21 years of age or older.
You can also make a difference in a child’s life by making a financial contribution. Guardian Friends of Lewis County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to raising money to cover the needs of foster children that are not met by Children's Administration. These needs include tutoring, specialized counseling, sports fees and equipment, furniture such as beds and dressers, Christmas presents, and more. You can send a donation to Guardian Friends of Lewis County POB 445, Chehalis WA, 98532 or make a donation online under the Donate tab. Please indicate if you would like a receipt mailed to you.
